https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=276770 Bug ID: 276770 Summary: Some potential NULL-pointer dereferences Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: w290680224@gmail.com Attachment #248120 text/plain mime type: Created attachment 248120 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=248120&action=edit The potential NULL dereferences We utilized a static analyzer to detect instances of omitted NULL checks in certain resource allocation functions within the Kernel. The attached document enumerates these occurrences, which could potentially lead to NULL pointer dereferences. The document is organized as follows: the first column lists the allocation functions that might return a NULL pointer under certain conditions; the second column specifies the exact locations (file +line_number) where these allocation functions are invoked without appropriate NULL checks, creating a risk of NULL pointer dereference; and the third column pinpoints the specific line of source code. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
