Bug ID: 270250
Summary: Linuxulator: golang hangs on aarch64; futex related?
Product: Base System
Version: CURRENT
Hardware: arm64
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: ---
Component: kern
Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
Reporter: trasz@FreeBSD.org
On aarch64, Linux golang test suite hangs at various moments, usually starting
with the closure4.go test. All of those hangs end up in binary in running
state, with two threads. In some cases it doesn't happen to the test case
itself, but to the golang compiler. I'm no longer observing the futex errors
which were reported by the same test suite on same aarch64 machine before; my
guess is there might be some kind of race condition in recently added aarch64
Linuxulator futex support?
On amd64 the problem doesn't seem to occur.
