dhclient hasn't received any imports from upstream in a long time
(possibly since being capsicumized)
that explains the discrepancy between FreeBSD's dhclient and that on Linux.

please note that there are plans to (eventually) replace dhclient with dhcpcd

but in the mean time, we might wanna fix this, as it seems easy enough to do
