NTPD will stop because the ti= me gets too far behind. The length of time that the clock stops running varie= s. Since I update to 12.4, it took 7 days for it to happen. Before updating to 12.4, it would happen randomly, anywhere from 1 hour to 12. I'm running VirtualBox 6.1.26 on both, not sure if this has anything to do = with the problem. The processor is an Intel Xeon L5520 2.27GHz. Both systems have 72G memory. These systems were running an older version of FreeBSD and didn't have this issue. kern.eventtimer.timer: HPET kern.eventtimer.choice: HPET(350) HPET1(340) HPET2(340) HPET3(340) LAPIC(10= 0) i8254(100) RTC(0) kern.clockrate: { hz =3D 1000, tick =3D 1000, profhz =3D 8126, stathz =3D 1= 27 } kern.hz: 1000 --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
