Hi all again, particularly committers. Please apologize upfront for adding
another comment here to draw attention. I'm not sure how much the merged path
needs amendmend and review (and I'm sure there are other bugs which are much
more important than this one). However, the controller in question is not some
exotic hardware used by "some", but one of the standard options on one of the
arguably most used vendors (DELL) serving with our beloved FreeBSD. On short
term (before deploying machines), I'd be available for further tests. However I
am resorting to USB NVME for boot  in the mean time (as I cannot deploy a
custom kernel on those machines).
