Let's put this bug to rest.  The commit that rmacklem made fixes a minor
protocol nit, but isn't really the cause of the problem.  The root cause is an
ESXi bug, not a FreeBSD bug.  Attachment 231735 works around the problem.  But
it's such a hack that I don't want to commit it to FreeBSD.  Hopefully VMWare
will fix their bug, and if not then hopefully Google will direct their users
here.
