Bug ID: 262290
Summary: After a normal FreeBSD installation and reboot,
/etc/resolv.conf will be changed.
Product: Base System
Version: 13.0-RELEASE
Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Many People
Priority: ---
Component: conf
Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
Reporter: yklaxds@gmail.com
When installing FreeBSD, the network was configured and DNS was set up
correctly. However, when rebooting into a new system, the DNS in
/etc/resolv.conf will be changed, and the DNS will most likely be 127.0.0.1,
which is the wrong DNS and will not connect to the network. And the DNS device
performed during the installation will be commented out with # to make it
invalid. FreeBSD should keep the DNS settings that were made at the time of
installation unmodified.
