So the bug just happened again, and this time it coincided with a loss of LACP
sync.  One of the two lagged interfaces dropped from
ACTIVE,COLLECTING,DISTRIBUTING to just ACTIVE, and it logged "Interface stopped
DISTRIBUTING, possible flapping".  At that exact time, the client's mount hung.
That's highly suspicious.  I can't find any evidence for that happening during
previous events, however.  But it does suggest that something in the network
stack is not handling packet loss well.
