            Bug ID: 261760
Summary: dlopen asserts instead of returning an error
           Product: Base System
           Version: 13.0-STABLE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: yuri@freebsd.org

I use the attached program load.c to load the attached shared library
CardinalFX.so https://people.freebsd.org/~yuri/CardinalFX.so

It prints:
> $ ./load ./work/Cardinal-d0224fc/bin/CardinalFX.lv2/CardinalFX.so
> Unable to find symbol pthread_mutexattr_setkind_np version (null). Aborting.
> Abort trap

Expected behavior: dlopen should either succeed or fail with an error message,
but it shouldn't assert.

CardinalFX.so is produced by the port audio/cardinal. Please install cardinal
it first for all dependencies of CardinalFX.so
