https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=258534 Bug ID: 258534 Summary: panic on boot under ARM64 Parallels, episode two Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: trasz@FreeBSD.org This one is similar in theme to kern/258136, except it happens with a VM created under Parallels Desktop 17, as opposed to an older one, which was the subject of that PR. It follows suggestion from a comment from sdimitry_parallels.com on https://reviews.freebsd.org/D31768. Essentially: FreeBSD 14 main-n249425-12061d2626e (with patches fixing kern/258136 already in place) panics on boot, unless the VM type is set to "Other".
