No, but I tried booting current on one. Experience writeup here:

In short: it didn't work at all. Not even close.
Too many missing bits.

Be aware that these are the same as cell phones: everyting inside is soldered, there is nothing to upgrade.
(Unless you want to do some serious soldering)
