By the way: I'll note that
FreeBSD-14.3-STABLE-arm64-aarch64-RPI-20250724-f0a7a1bda375-272016.img.xz
contains a 2024.07 u-boot --but dated dates "Jul 24 2025"-- not a more
modern version:

It looks like official builds have not updated the source vintage that
is built in some time.
There could be other observable differences vs. what you are using.
