(I do not remember the details.) As such, the kernel would not even notice differences in such areas to report on needing to be updated when the kernel's code no longer matched what following the Device Tree would do. In other words, I'd not be surprised if just updating u-boot proves insufficient: kernel development/updating likely would be required as well. === Mark Millard marklmi at yahoo.com
