According with this tutorial : https://khadas.github.io/linux/edge/InstallOsIntoEmmc.html if Windows is used the Edge goes in Upgrade mode by itself. Please read point 3 : 3) Let Edge enter into Upgrade Mode <https://khadas.github.io/linux/edge/HowtoBootIntoUpgradeMode.html> to complete the upgrading. So I think that using the same tool but for Linux,it will do the same. No need to put it in Upgrade mode by myself. And if it were needed,I don't yet understand how.
