First, I plan to migrate all existing websites to PowerPC64 BE. These are not old G5 Macs, they are modern systems with raid support. Also, moving all services like, dns, email, mysql, and etc to PowerPC64 BE. Next, I am planing on purchasing additional PowerPC64 BE systems, so I am no longer pulling a system out of production for development, or compiling. I have it setup so that I can ssh into a system, then use a serial console to access my development environment. Also, I have a jumper installed for power instead of using the power button on the PC case, so as soon as there is power it boots up and a remote power switch, so I can reboot remotely. I am going open this up to develepers. Most packages from ports compile anyway. I have patches that allow almost all packages to compile. I want to move to a dedicated system to compile PowerPC64 BE packages. I have 1,000's of packages now, but this would ensure the latest versions. Finishing the website, so anyone can download PowerPC64 BE images. Setting up my own git repository to ensure developement continues. Kind Regards, Al
