similar problem on an ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS visually, but it differs in that
graphics (gop) is not seen while in UEFI mode, and loader.efi thinks everything
must be serial console (boot info reports addr, size 0x0, 0x0) 

The system displays apparently no further activity past that point

I've tried the June 1st patch (though it needs some cleanup op
13.0-RELEASE-p2). It does continue the boot, but the screen is all garbled.

booting openbsd's install69.img in UEFI mode shows a working efifb though.

Booting in CSM mode, with an external video card, works
