I think that the guard would be not enough, the real compat header with some
content like
#define UEXTERROR_MAXLEN 128
static inline int
uexterr_gettext(char *buf, size_t len)
{
if (len > 0)
buf[0] = '\0';
return (0);
}
should work better.
