Hi,

By requesting exp-run's you assign it to portmgr, that's how it's always 
been done. There have been numerous mails to the mailing-list so it has 
hardly been an silent effort and many maintainers have helped out. See

Timeouts have been issued well beyond the usual time limit, there's no 
approval required. If you don't communicate within close to a month 
that's on you, don't try to shift it to someone else's fault. bapt did 
the same approach (mark ports as broken) in the end with the last major 
FFmpeg upgrade which took forever to land that Jan initially started and 
I continued to work on (PR 278705). I've been a part of multimedia since 
a few years (joined via tcberner), see also

Another note, multimedia/ffmpeg4 is more than 2 months behind latest 
release which you argued to keep and no PR in sight.
