Actually I copied this from databases/clickhouse in early stages of 
porting and, I confess, forgot about this. I did assume that the version 
of clang being used was relevant, but I could be wrong.

Now that you mention it, I need to do more testing without that 
workaround. OTOH maybe databases/clickhouse too need to revise that stanza?
