While it's legal, so e.g. one could do things like ``make -V WWW | xclip
-selection clipboard'' to copy the project URL, many terminal emulators or
text editors allow to click and open embedded links directly, which some
people probably find handy.  Generally I don't like to hardcode things and
would rather use a variable, but having WWW unobfuscated has its benefits.
