Hi, I think the "confusion/expectation" is about the concept that -devel needs to be bleeding edge. That isn't necessarily always the case especially when upstream have multiple active branches. Adding to that bofh@ has already mentioned that he hasn't been able to test bleeding edge yet which is why it still tracks the 8.0-branch. We already have quite a few "drive-by" commits and if we want to maintain some kind of quality committing untested version bumps/patches isn't the way to go. Best regards, Daniel
