I believe this needs a newer vala (i.e. 0.50, not 0.48), as vala as
in ports does not know about gnome-desktop-4:
: error: Package `gnome-desktop-4' not found in specified Vala API
:  directories or GObject-Introspection GIR directories

This is somewhat of a PITA, as without gnome-clocks there is no
x11/gnome, and after the recent libxml2-based bumps I get a few
uninstallable ports. I can fix those locally - but we're just a few
days from a quarterly branch, and starting a quarterly with broken
gnome seems... not optimal.
