Some GNOME components, needed by consumers, have not seen (upstream) 
releases or other updates worthy of updating distfiles in timely 
fashions. glade is one such case; its last release, reflected in our 
tree, was in November 2020, and there is no real outward indication of 
an impending release or update anytime soon. gnome@ long ago decided to 
deprecate versioned DIST_SUBDIRs so this was bound to happen, distfiles 
update or not. Yes it's annoying for those who keep our DISTDIRs intact 
but we do have to mind consistency.
