Just wondering as I got a 90 MB ctm delta ;-) So we're back to the emacs.core era*, except that now there ain't Peter Wemm to the rescue? How come we don't reject such huge pushes by default? AFAIR we used to have like 2MB limit or something with Subversion. Back in CVS times it was easier to make mistakes, but they were correctable with careful repo surgery. With Git, this can't be fixed, but it should not have happened in the first place because one should always review their commits prior to the push! Guys, can we please do something about this so our version control does not look worse than it was 20 years ago? Pretty please. ./danfe *) http://www.lemis.com/grog/diary-sep1998.php#16
