I fail to see how building on a mutable host system contributes to build's reproducibility more than building from an immutable system's snapshot with any packages installed only as deps for a given build. Anyways, I'm working on a fix for the initial issue. P.S. For some reason I get each of your mail messages twice. Not sure if this is a problem on your end or not.
