Why is bash a dependency?

You most likely wanted a shared library?

Why reason why GH_TAGNAME isn't the release tag?

You likely want something along the lines of the following:

CMAKE_ON=       BUILD_SHARED_LIBS

CMAKE_OFF=      ARGTABLE3_ENABLE_TESTS \

                ARGTABLE3_ENABLE_EXAMPLES
