However, for the case of fixed CVE's here, one could say that this commit was done with best intentions. It would be great, if the commit would at least mention why it is fixed without feedback from the maintainers (who possibly already were working on this). Looking at your responses however, I think in this case, the "good intentions" outweigh the toe-stepping. I think we can jot this down then as good intentions plus slight oversight while looking at bugzilla. It happens. For team members, you can check [1] (however current that might be), and hopefully become a member of it "officially" too. mfg Tobias [1] https://wiki.freebsd.org/Apache#Team_Members On Wed, 18 Jan 2023 at 17:42, Cy Schubert wrote: > > Cy Schubert writes: > > In message , Jochen > > Neumeiste > > r writes: > > > > > > > > > Am 17.01.23 um 22:12 schrieb Cy Schubert: > > > > The branch main has been updated by cy: > > > > > > > > URL: https://cgit.FreeBSD.org/ports/commit/?id=57ca2ea50da81d0223f6c3660a > > 70 > > > 4f7098cac282 > > > > > > > > commit 57ca2ea50da81d0223f6c3660a704f7098cac282 > > > > Author: Cy Schubert > > > > AuthorDate: 2023-01-17 20:36:12 +0000 > > > > Commit: Cy Schubert > > > > CommitDate: 2023-01-17 21:12:13 +0000 > > > > > > > > www/apache24: Update to 2.4.55 > > > > > > > > Fixes multiple vulnerabilities. > > > > > > > > PR: 269015 > > > > > > > > > hi, > > > > > > where is the approval from Apache Team? > > > > > > Jochen > > > > They assigned the PR to me because I submitted the patch.
