I would just like to add that this behaviour is reproducible using a device as
a file, rather than just usb devices, eg: mdconfig -a -t vnode blob00, and then
sending a snapshot from md0 to md1 using the 'zfs send' and 'zfs recv' flags as
in comment #1.
