Hi benson; There is no actual "GSoC Mailing List": you can use the regular lists, and in particular hackers@ to share your ideas, and look for a mentor, before submitting your proposal. As a side note: we prefer detailed proposals that don't limit themselves to repeat exactly what can be read in the Project ideas list ;). Pedro.
