another plea for consistent terminology: MAC != MLS ?

In one or two posts Ive been unsure whether the poster has meant MLS when
they have written MAC.

Some textbooks have made the confusing decision to use MAC for MLS and to
use specific
names for other forms of mandatory controls (such as Biba integrity
models).

We could follow that practice, but we should probably also follow them in
doing it explicitly.

Im against the practice because it runs against standard english for no
good reason (that I can see).

MLS = Multi-Level Security ( ~= lattice security ~= bell-la padula )
