There's also a lot of interest in running Android binaries on FreeBSD (although this needs a bit more work than just the syscall emulation layer), so I suspect that there'll be quite a lot of interest in ARMv7 emulation too.  Things like ART are nowhere near 64-bit clean, so Android is likely to be including v7 binaries for quite a while after v8 becomes mainstream...
