OMG, please do not make nightmare one have on Linux or Solaris.  Everything can be installed form packages but it is so inconvenient!

It is so nice to have most useful stuff out of the box.  Does it hurt you?  Having all these things in base is so cool, please do not make Lego constructor everyone must use.
Disks are so large and cheap these days.
