Hi Yuri,
I'm aware of two issues with name changes. This is from memory, so
correct me if I my memory is wrong.
1. pkg version -vl'<' will not report wpa_gui-2.6_1 needs to be
upgraded even though PORTREVISION was bumped.
2. A simple pkg upgrade will not upgrade wpa_gui-2.6_1 to
wpa_supplicant_gui-2.6_2. Users will have to `pkg install
wpa_supplicant_gui-2.6_2`.
I became aware of this issue recently. Unfortunately, ports with
USES=emacs have package names that include the Emacs version like
pdf-tools-emacsxx-0.80.101. When the version of editors/emacs changed
from 25.x to 26.x pdf-tools-emacs25-0.80.101 changed to
pdf-tools-emacs26-0.80.101 and we hit the same issues.
Also, I just tried building net/wpa_gui_supplicant, but it failed.
