The user can still use DEFAULT_VERSIONS to pick Python 3, but
it really doesn't matter as far as functionality is concerned.

Running with Python 3 is still in beta and is not officially
supported upstream, but I can still add the ability to build
with FLAVORS once it's possible to control PKGNAMESUFFIX
for slave ports.
