Hello Luca,
tl;dr This change breaks net-im/mastodon [1], www/gitlab [2] and probably
other ports.
We are back to the same problem we discussed in the past with
conflicts between different node versions.
net-im/mastodon no longer builds after this change, because it pulls in
both www/yarn and devel/rubygem-execjs and execjs defaults to www/node.
Also, www/rubygem-rails{4,5,50} all depend on devel/rubygem-execjs, so I
expect there will be other conflicts.
Could you coordinate with bhughes (maintainer of www/node?) and possibly
sunpoet (maintainer of www/npm?) to solve this?
Thank you,
Joseph
