it is pending support for poudriere which has not been done, if anyone is
volunteering to step in: https://github.com/freebsd/poudriere/pull/741

As for the revert, a revert should come with an explanation and if the same
revert is often done, at best a comment in the makefile to prevent everyone to
come again and to it again.

In this particular case, in the wait for subpackages, it seems to me Loic
changes looked legit, if it is not, please elaborate and document it.
