Please don't call it "KDE 5 Desktop". While there *is* a port x11/kde5, which 
is the "install everything possible from the KDE community in its modern 
form", the name (for humans) of the software is "KDE Plasma Desktop + KDE 
Applications". A "lite" version, just installing the desktop, would be called 
"KDE Plasma Desktop (no applications)" and should install x11/plasma5-plasma-
desktop (if you wanted to carry the "Lite" idea across to all the desktops).

KDE 4 was actually called KDE 4.

The GNOME desktops listed are called -- according to their pkg-descr's, at 
least -- with all-caps GNOME and a space before the 3. I won't presume to 
speak for the GNOME team, though; just pointing out that the human-readable 
name doesn't match.
