I'll say it here, again -- kde@ maintains Qt versions 4 and 5, and would be 
happy(-ish) if Qt4 is deprecated. taking along with it KDE4. I say "-ish" 
because the total lack of updates upstream means that the maintainence burden 
is low.

Note that actively deprecating Qt4 is something that will take months, in 
order to allow users to make a smooth transition -- and it is something that 
needs to be discussed at length (and probably elsewhere than this list).
