I’m not opposed to it, but sometimes cgit is slow to support changes to the git API, so this way feels safer. It uses the same distfile as devel/git, so the only difference is which directory the initial extraction takes place in.

Plus, wouldn’t it still need a PORTREVISION bump every time devel/git gets updated?
