It has been more than a year now that tijl has been leading the autotools
maintenance taking over the autotools support, improving a lot the situation
on FreeBSD by fixing lots of issues with libtool (on freebsd): the naming of
the libraries which was wrong, overlinking (via libtool.mk and upstreaming
things). Making the autotools regeneration (autoreconf) working almost ootb for
all ports which correctly uses (upstream part) autotools via autoreconf.mk.
And also cleaning up all the different concurrent version available in ports so
we can now live with only one single version for all but autoconf.
