XDM still fails to record my login

Hi,

Yes, the famous error, pam_sm_close_session(): no utmp record for :0
I saw the code in Xstartup and Xreset, but they just do not work. My login
on pts/0 is never recorded.

I uses startxfce4 in .xinitrc, and my .xsession exec .xinitrc. Any idea?
