ATI HD5850 support?

Hi,

I plan zo upgrade my Athlon64 3500/ATI HD3850 system to a i7-860/ATI
HD5850 system.
As far as I can see there is right now no support for the RV870 chip the
HD5850 uses. So - what do I have to expect? I need dual monitor support.
Will it work? Does anyone know if there will be soon HD5850 support
