Hi,
I have a Acer Extensa 5620 laptop with FreeBSD az XOrg. Few days ago i
change my
system from 7-STABLE to 7.2-RELEASE and upgraded all ports.
My video controller is:
vgapci0 at pci0:0:2:0: class=0x030000 card=0x011f1025 chip=0x2a028086
rev=0x03 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Intel Corporation'
device = 'Mobile 965 Express Integrated Graphics Controller'
class = display
subclass = VGA
vgapci1 at pci0:0:2:1: class=0x038000 card=0x011f1025 chip=0x2a038086
rev=0x03 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Intel Corporation'
device = 'Mobile 965 Express Integrated Graphics Controller'
class = display
After upgrade the intel driver is:
xf86-video-intel-2.6.3
If i want to play HD 720p ( mkv ) file with mplayer X freeze and i
didn't access the console.
I tested lots of xorg.conf change or without xorg.conf. Any time a see
in Xorg.log:
exaCopyDirty: Pending damage region empty!
Memory heap 0x28666340:
Offset:0002a000, Size:00001000, ..
Offset:0002b000, Size:00001000, ..
Offset:0002c000, Size:000fe000, F.
Free list:
FREE Offset:0002c000, Size:000fe000, F.
End of memory blocks
After i downgrade xf86-video-intel port to xf86-video-intel-2.5.1 the
display works fine and
i can play any 720p mkv file with mplayer.
Best regards,
Peter
