There is already a xcb knob in x11 ports. I'm just attempt to add of
another one. The knob will keep building libX11 with xcb by default.
Changing this will be a user decision.

What "packages" are you talking about? The only KDE package that
depends on libxcb is multimedia/kaffeine.
