libX11 Error

Dear Sir/Madam,
Please find details of an error I am receiving when trying to install the
libX11 port.
./configure.lineno: 2766: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly.
Please report the problem to x11 at FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach the
"/usr/ports/x11/libX11/work/libX11-1.2.1/config.log" including the output of
the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a good idea to provide
an overview of all packages installed on your system (e.g. an `ls
/var/db/pkg`).
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/x11/libX11.
*** Error code 1
Please could you provide a course of action?
