Protocol evdev in xorg 7.2

hello,

I have a Logitech MX1000 Wireless Mouse, and I would like to use all
the buttons in xorg

I found this web page

my question does xorg 7.2 with FreeBSD 6.2 support this

Option     "Protocol"        "evdev"


if anyone is using a Logitech MX1000 in FreeBSD please let me know how
it is working or if it works.
