I've experienced crashes when upgrading X11 from within X11, so I would
not recommend it.

OS releases and ports changes are completely decoupled in FreeBSD.  I
am glad you have such high expectations of us, but based on what you've
said in this thread so far, they are unrealistic.  We just don't have
the manpower to do the kinds of things you're expecting us to do here.

I think you'll be a lot happier if you stick to our releases if you
only have one system and one disk.
