Hi,
yes, I tried it the same way you did even before I started this
thread, also by modifying Makefile, I got similar results on
7.0-BETA4 on 946GZ shipset (gma 3000).
Also there is already an effort to release 2.2.1 bugfix release
of these drivers [1], maybe then wait for new release and then
try to port it to FreeBSD.
