Using imwheel with Freebsd 6.1 and xorg 6.9.0_2

I fired up xev, and repeated rapid scrolling appears to generate
ButtonPress/Releases for buttons 6 and 7.

Reducing the ZAxisMapping in xorg.conf to buttons 4 and 5 (the default
is "4 5 6 7") fixes the problem.
