Recommend graphics card for AMD64 FreeBSD 6.2-RC1 1680x1050 widescreen monitor? (was Re: Any clues on nVidia GeForce 6100?)

Ok, then I recommend trying new X.org, cause the one in ports is a bit
stale (well, one year old). See http://wikitest.freebsd.org/ModularXorg.

If it still doesn't work (and if you have no good reason to run
FreeBSD/amd64), switch to FreeBSD/i386 and install nvidia-driver.
